Sheriff's campaign gets off to a great start
Sheriff John Newhart's election kickoff party was packed with his fans, deputies and a host of politicians as he embarked on a campaign to continue into a fourth decade of service to his community. The Sheriff has always been a familiar face at charitable events, many of which he sponsors, and grateful citizens were there for him at the event held at Marriott's Springhill Suites in Greenbrier.
